Are you as egg-cited as I am to play Easter slots?
I’ve always liked Easter (well, commercial Easter, anyway🐰🐣). As kids, my sisters and I loved hunting for those small, weird-tasting, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs my parents (…I mean the Easter Bunny) hid around the house for us to find. To this day, my parents still have chocolate (much better tasting chocolate 🤣) for me every year. This chocolate egg-hunting nostalgia is probably the reason I enjoy playing Easter themed slots so much.

What are Easter slots?
They are online slots inspired by commercial themes associated with Easter and/or the spring season. Common themes include:
- Easter Bunny
- Colourful chocolate eggs
- Sweets and chocolates
- Spring
- Baby farm animals – with the most common being bunnies, chicks and lambs
Of all the special occasioned-themed online slots (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, etc.), Easter seems to be the one with the least number of slots.
For this reason, when you search for Easter themed slots, you might find several titles in your search results that don’t really have anything to do with the holiday. From what I’ve seen, if a rabbit, chicken, eggs, chocolate or candy is part of the game’s theme, it’s thrown into the Easter mix🤣.
Why play Easter slots?
There are a few reasons why players choose these slots, especially around this time of year. Here’s what I think are the top three:
- They like Easter – If you enjoy themes inspired by the Easter Bunny, sweets, chocolates, spring, or the animals associated with Easter/spring (e.g. bunnies, chicks, lambs, etc.), you’ll probably find these slots to be a lot of fun.
- They like special promotions – Many online casinos create special promotions themed after Easter. These may include slots tournaments where you have a chance to win a piece of a prize pool or bonuses that give you free spins to play on select Easter slots, and so on.

Where can you play Easter slots?
Most online casinos should have these games. I still only play at one casino right now (PlayOJO) and it does have Easter themed slots for Ontario players.
Here’s how I go about finding them where I play:
- Login (sometimes casino’s do not show their entire library of games unless you login)
- Search for the word “Easter” using the site’s search bar.
- Choose a game from the results.
Depending on where you play, you may also be able to search for games by provider. If this is possible, this is an easy way to search all the games of the one provider to see if they have any Eastery games you might like.

In addition to being a grid slot (a favourite of mine), it has free spins with an infinite multiplier and a baking syringe that once filled activates the Choco Spins Bonus. Why I want to play it: For staters, it’s the newest game of the five. For another reason – and more importantly – it’s a Cluster Pays game. This means that symbols from winning combos disappear and are replaced by symbols tumbling from above, which can result in consecutive wins without costing another spin of the reels. The coin collection and free spins features in this game also look fun, and the up to 10,000x the bet max win isn’t bad either.
