It’s time to get spooky!

I’m anticipating that this month will be a fun one for playing casino games that are new to me.

Why?

October is easily one of my favourite months of the year. It’s a time where three major things occur in most of Canada:

• Thanksgiving 🦃
• Changing leaves 🍂
• Halloween 🎃

While I know not all Canadians celebrate or participate in these October events, I do, and I absolutely love them – especially Halloween.

One of the greatest things about online casinos this time of year is that many of them feature Halloween casino games, more specifically, Halloween slots. What I mean by that are slots with spooky, eerie, creepy, horror, or dark themes.

Based on Day of the Dead celebrations, of all the casino games in my list, this one looks to be the most light and “cute”. I am a fan of Play’n GO slots, as you know, and this one has a Free Spins feature where it’s possible to get unlimited free spins. It also has different types of wilds and offers up to 2,500x my bet to be won on every spin. Plus, visually it looks like it will be a lot of fun and features some pretty cool artwork, too.

 Nolimit City (release date: August 2021)

I’ve decided it’s time to give Nolimit City another shot. Remember way back in June when I played its Disturbed slot? If you remember from the post I made about my favourite casino game for the month of June, I was quite disappointed in the game and found it to be more cheesy than scary. Based on my first experience, I don’t have high hopes for this game, as, at first glance, Mental doesn’t appear to be all that different from Disturbed, but ‘tis the season of creepy. Plus, the game’s Fire Frame split symbols that can boost winnings, the up to 9,999x multiplier, and wins up to 66,666x my stake, is appealing.  

Book of Shadows 📕 🕳️

Nolimit City (release date: August 2020)

Okay, so it seems that Nolimit City has no shortage of eerie, horror-themed games, which is why I’ve included a second game from this provider in my October casino games list. Book of Shadows does look different from Mental, at least, both visually and in its design.  It also has some interesting features including Shadow Rows that can increase rows, Lucky Locks that lock reels after a spin, Win Ways to boost payouts, and a Free Spins feature. The up to 30,388x my bet wins is also a nice touch.

Chaos Crew 2 😾💀

Hacksaw Gaming (release date: September 2023)

I’ve never played the first Chaos Crew game and decided to jump straight to the second one since it’s a new release. So, this will be my first experience with the characters Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull. In this sequel, the online slot is packed with various features like Sticky and Epic Sticky multipliers, a Best of Bonus feature, and a Bonus Game with Epic Drop. To be honest, I don’t really know what to expect from this game, but with the number of “Epic” features it boasts, I hope it doesn’t disappoint!

Immortal Romance Video Bingo 🧛🖤

The Immortal Romance online slot is one of my favorites. I didn’t include the online slot among my Halloween casino games list simply because I have played it before, and the purpose of this is to pick games I’ve yet to play. This is why I’ve selected the video bingo version of the game instead. This will also be the first time I’ve played video bingo. I’m curious to see how that goes, if I like it, and how well the provider has managed to incorporate the classic Immortal Romance vampire love story theme into this style of game. This is a 30-ball bingo game and I’ll be able to play up to 4 bingo cards. There are three characters to match to prizes and up to 10,000x my ticket price to win. Count me interested.
