It’s True. I Haven’t Yet Tried All Casino Games.

I have a confession. There are two casino games I’ve always wanted to play online, but I’ve never worked up the nerve to play either of them. Those games are online blackjack and online baccarat.

Why? In all honesty, I find the rules for both games a little daunting. Anything that requires me to add numbers makes me sweat a little.😅  

I know that this is rather silly, because in some ways, the games don’t appear all that hard to play (I mean, blackjack even has a strategy card that can be used, for frig sakes), but, honestly, I’ve always kind of sucked at cards, and still only barely grasp the rules of 5-card poker.🤭

Nope, I’ve Never Even Tried RNG Blackjack or Baccarat Risk-Free Online

So, you might be thinking: “Mia, come on! Why haven’t you played the games, even when there’s no risk involved?” Trust me, I get it. I’ve thought the same thing more than once, but considering how crappy I am at poker, there is something about these card games/table games* that unnerve me.

Well, I shouldn’t say “something”. I know what it is. It’s a combination of…

• The rules (don’t even get me started on trying to understand odds…)
• The vast number of variants (especially for blackjack!😮 – Honestly, where do you start?)
• The fact that when I look at a blackjack strategy charts my eyes cross! 🤣
• Lots of high rollers🤑play it (that’s intimidating, and I only have a tiny budget)

*Seriously, I have no idea if blackjack and baccarat are technically considered card games or table games. I’ve never understood the difference between the two. Please feel free to enlightenment me in the comments! 🙏😊

It’s Time I Conquered My Online Blackjack and Online Baccarat “Fears”

So, why am I making this rather silly confession? Because I’ve always been the type of person who will try/do something when she’s told someone else about it. It makes me feel like I need to be accountable. Since, I’ve now published it in my blog, I have to at least try the games for fun and then provide you with the proof that I did it.

But, that leaves me with my next questions:

Should I try blackjack or baccarat first?

And…

Which online variant is the best for a beginner?

I suppose I’ll do a little research, and I guess I’ll probably start with a demo of any of the RNG-based games that are labeled “classic”.

That said, I’d really love to know people’s thoughts and opinions on this one (here or on one of my social media channels – buttons are below).

Also, I’m curious to know if it’s just me, or if there’s a casino game that you hesitate to play? I’m okay if I’m the only weird one, though. 🤣
