So far, I’ve claimed only one casino promotion.

I’m no stranger to claiming promos when it comes to purchasing food, clothes, shoes, appliances, services, etc. I mean, who doesn’t love a good deal? But I have to admit, I’ve yet to claim casino bonuses beyond a welcome bonus.

Why? To be honest, I haven’t given promotions much thought. So far, I’ve been the type of player who logs in and plays without looking at all the extras that might be available. I just kind of want to play what I want to play.

Casino promotions usually restrict you to playing a certain game, and a lot of the times they aren’t games I feel like playing. Or they require you to deposit a certain amount that I don’t want to deposit at that time. What can I say? I’m picky about my promotions.

These are the casino bonuses I’m considering claiming…

Ongoing offers

PlayOJO offers what it calls “Kickers”. This is essentially multiple promotion offers that are available for only one day and I can pick the one I like best and claim it (I can only claim one per day and there are different offers available the next day). These casino bonuses usually are game-specific offers. So, you play the select game, complete a task, and get the reward.

For instance, there was a “Triple Crazy Time” offer today (July 25th) when I wrote this post (screenshot below). For this offer, if you manage to place 3 winning bets on the Crazy Time Bonus Game segment of Evolution’s Crazy Time live game show, you win $25. The minimum bet per one round is $10 and only completed rounds count towards the offer. Sounds reasonable and seems easy enough, but the offer doesn’t appeal to me because I don’t care about this game.

Another example of an offer I could have claimed today was a “Spins Packages” (screenshot below). This lets you buy spins on a select slot for a discounted price. For instance, today I could get a Spins Package on GVG’s Thor: The Trials of Asgard. Each spin is worth 20 cents and I have the option to purchase 50 Spins (+1 extra spin) for $10, 100 Spins (+3 extra spins) for $20, or 150 Spins (+5 extra spins) for $30 (btw it’s the extra spins where the discount comes into play). Also worth noting is that I had the option to buy the spins with my available balance or I could buy it with a deposit, which is pretty cool.

Though this might be a promotion I’ll claim in the future, as I like the value and that you can claim it with your balance if you want, I passed on it today because I’ve recently discovered I’m not a fan of this particular Thor game. 😝

Daily slots tournaments

PlayOJO calls these “Reel Spinoffs”. That said, they function pretty much the same way as slots tournaments do at other online casinos from what I’ve discovered in my research. Essentially, each day there are tournaments you can enter.

Some you buy-in, which means you purchase (with either your balance or by making a deposit) the number of spins you want to play in order to take part in the tournament, (in the screenshot below you can see that the buy-in for the available tournaments today was $1).  Other slots tournaments are Freerolls, which means it doesn’t cost you anything to join. You simply start playing. The purpose of a slots tournament is to play the select game(s) and rank on a leaderboard for the chance to win a prize. Though the prizes can be a share of cash, a lot of the times they are a share of free spins, which is good too.

Slots tournaments look interesting, and I think I might try a freeroll soon just to see what it’s like. Naturally, I’ll let you know how it goes when I do.😆

I guess the only way I’ll know if I like casino bonuses is if I start claiming them.

There’s only one way to find out if we like something, right? I suppose it’s high time I get over my underwhelmed experience and try out one of these promotions to see if the perks that are available will add a new level of fun to my journey.

What about you? Are casino bonuses and promotions the highlight of your gaming experience? Or, like me, are you hesitant to try them?

Until next time, good luck and have fun!
